History and introduction
In 1969 (Showa 44), the Jimikai "Insurance Dispensing Pharmacy" was established in the Kanazawa University Hospital, and then moved to the current location in 1984 (Showa 59) to promote the division of medicines advocated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. Based on this, we are currently stocking about 1,600 medicines, responding to about 20,000 out-of-hospital prescriptions annually, and striving to provide a full range of medical services.
In providing detailed medication guidance under the "family pharmacy" and "family pharmacist" systems, we value communication with patients and provide support so that they can always receive safe and appropriate drug treatment.
In addition, we have a system in place to supply chemicals, etc. in the event of a disaster.
